Special Program Opportunities
Those students with the highest academic promise admitted to the program will be enrolled in UNCG's Lloyd International Honors College. The goal of the International Honors Program is to foster students to become independent thinkers who are active in the design and pursuit of their education, globally aware and engaged, and prepared to lead successful and fulfilling professional, civic, and personal lives.
If you are a member of the Honors College in addition to being a Guarantee Scholar, then you are required to live in North Spencer Hall and also participate in a non-residential Learning Community. Students will have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester or a full academic year, live in the Honors Residence Hall for their four years at the University, participate in special Honors programs, seek prestigious post-undergraduate fellowships, and graduate with Full University Honors.
