Personal Enrichment Peers or PEP Leaders are a new initiative of mentoring within Guarantee. Similar to our Cohort Captains for the first-year cohort, PEP Leaders support our scholars during their second year, working alongside them as they navigate their cohort’s career readiness curriculum.

The second year for many students can come with new challenges and transitions. PEP Leaders are upperclassmen in the Guarantee Scholars Program who have a passion for continued student support. These mentors work with small groups of mentees as a personal guide to their second year at UNCG. Building on what they learned from their Cohort Captains in their first year, PEP Leaders support scholars in continuing their personal enrichment.
